Make Reading, Thinking, and Writing Come Together
Meaningful ELA resources that help middle grade students connect ideas, think deeply, and write with confidence.
Created by a middle school teacher who understands how hard it can be to keep students engaged—and how rewarding it is when everything clicks.
More Than Just Reading Activities
READ
Students Engage with meaningful texts
THINK
Students reflect and make connections
WRITE
Students reflect their ideas with confidence
Where Reading Leads to Thinking—and Writing Has Purpose
It’s not about worksheets or filling in answers.
It’s about helping students:
Think about what they read
Develop their own ideas
Express those ideas clearly
Because when reading, thinking, and writing come together—that’s when learning sticks.

About Tiz
Welcome! My name is Tiz and I have over 15 years of experience teaching English Language Arts in the middle grades, where I’ve specialized in creating engaging reading and writing environments. Because every classroom is unique, shaped by the individuality of its teacher, students, and shared experiences, I create resources designed to be flexible and adaptable, giving teachers the freedom to make them their own.
Inclusive, engaging texts that reflect the diversity of our world and that resonate with students are at the heart of my resources. I carefully choose a wide variety of texts, including videos, poetry, and stories that help students connect with the material, see themselves and others in the narratives, and develop critical thinking skills about the world around them.
